Manuel Arias, Vice President Graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in Business Administration. Began with Crown Zellerbach in the San Francisco Bay area selling products to wholesale paper and janitorial distributors. Spent nine years in the Seattle market as a district sales representative. As Regional Sales Manager for James River in the midwest and intermountain region, responsibilities included managing a 35 million dollar sales region. Past member of the Paper Millmen’s Assn. and Washington Sanitary Suppliers Assn.

The PacNorth Group was founded in 1990 as a professional marketing organization to the Northwest market specializing in foodservice supplies. The company started with two representatives and has grown to a current staff of 13. In addition to marketing services, we also offer warehousing facilities to better service our customers and help our suppliers. Our service area has expanded from the Portland and Seattle markets to include Alaska, Northern Idaho, and Hawaii.

Our goal is to represent a selection of non-competing quality lines and provide complete coverage with professional programs in the Northwest market. We are committed to being the industry leader by building our relationships with the distribution network and the end user community.

Our strength lies in our service to and relationships with our customers. The growth of our market penetrations has been achieved by our dedication to these concepts. We provide a high call frequency to distributors and end users, along with training seminars, customer designed promotional literature, sales analysis, and trade show participation. We also offer market research to segment the end user market. We have strong customer service professionals with vast product knowledge.

PacNorth is centrally located in Auburn, Washington, distribution center of the Northwest. Our customer service staff and outside sales people utlilize a fully networked computer system. The system capabilities include RPMS software (industry specialized for online order entry with EDI), customized professional graphics and spreadsheets, e-mail, and remote user access. Our telecommunications system includes five dedicated fax lines, 10 incoming and outgoing lines and voicemail convenience during and after working hours. We have salespeople living in each major market area to provide quick response and service to all our customers.
